Maltese

Maltese originated from the Island of Malta in the Mediterranean and are the oldest of all toy breeds being breed in Malta 2300 years ago. Through careful breeding Maltese have been breed to have a friendly and playful disposition. All Maltese have white hair and are very loving. Maltese have hair, like humans and are hypoallergenic and will not shed. They can be pad trained easily. Even with their small stature Maltese make excellent family pets due to their friendly disposition. Standard size of Maltese are 4lbs to 7lbs.
